Phyllis recently joined the Los Angeles County Operations of Old Republic Title and is responsible for expanding the county escrow operations and working with the talented escrow professionals to enhance their professional growth. She came to Old Republic after spending many years in Ventura County in a variety of industry positions. Phyllis began her career in 1967, in San Bernardino, California. Past experience includes Escrow Manager/Trainer for banks, title companies and independent escrow companies in both San Bernardino and Ventura Counties in California, and Funder in Overland Park, Kansas. Also owned and operated Unicorn Escrow in Port Hueneme, California.

Certified Escrow Officer; Certified Escrow Instructor. Inducted into the Ventura County Escrow Association Hall of Fame in 2003.

Philosophy
After spending many years serving the real estate community and assisting the consumer in the acquisition of their piece of the American Dream, it is time to give back to the industry that has provided so many blessings in my life. The development and mentoring of future escrow professionals is not only personally rewarding, but insures that the escrow profession continues to be recognized as the facilitator of the American Dream.
Personal
As a young, single mother, I was a Little League Coach and a Den Mother for Cub Scouts and WEBELOS. Now as a grandmother of three, I have the luxury of watching from the sidelines. I enjoy playing darts which I started in the late 1980s, singing Karaoke and reading historical novels and murder mysteries. While I can pass up most TV, I’m a serious fan of Law & Order, CSI, and Stargate I.
