Kim Dawson joined LandAmerica Financial Group in 1995 and now serves as West Region VP, Escrow Business Process Leader. She began her escrow career in 1978 in Southern California, rising through the escrow ranks from receptionist to escrow officer to owning her own independent escrow company. Kim's only venture away from escrow was one year in the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department where she decided escrow was a better career for her, and it didn't require her to carry a gun!

Associations
Kim is dedicated to escrow education and often speaks at regional and national association conventions. She was President of California Escrow Association (CEA) in 1999 and President of Ventura County Escrow Association (VCEA) in 1998. Kim has served on the CEA Executive Board since 1994 and is active on the VCEA Board of Directors. She is a member of the National Advisory Council for GoGetEscrow.com.
Personal
Kim resides in Camarillo, California, with her husband, Gary, and 5-year-old son, Garrett. She enjoys spending time with her familiy, traveling, sports, movies and scrapbooking.
